Systems Engineer Co-Op

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define system functionality by creating use cases
• Decompose requirements, define system interfaces, and assist in validation and verification planning
• Support the planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Flight Test activities in labs or field environments
• Support product qualification and troubleshooting of failures using root cause and corrective action processes
• Perform detailed performance evaluations and data analysis using tools such as MATLAB
• Prepare and present technical results in reports and briefings to stakeholders
• Attend and support technical reviews and interchanges

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree program
• Expected graduation date of May 2027 or August 2027
• Academic or internship experience involving hands-on testing of electronic equipment
• Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic, internship, or hobbyist setting
• Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Systems Engineering or a related scientific/STEM discipline
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• Proficiency with Windows and UNIX platforms
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or VBA
• Exposure to Agile Development Principles
• Previous internship experience in an engineering environment
