Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement key features of internal data application tools and frameworks
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions for critical business problems
• Contribute to the improvement of platform architecture for scalability, observability, and reliability
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to add new features and maintain data pipelines written in Go
• Participate in continuous knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Experience working with Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages
• Strong knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and GitLab CI
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work through ambiguous business requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with container-based deployments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
