About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop reliable robotic and automation systems
- Translate technical details to customers and express customer needs to technical teams
- Work with Senior Program Managers to develop, document, and execute technical decision making
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to advance projects
- Generate and maintain schedule, testing, and documentation tracking tools
- Document program requirements, test results, and trade studies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience working on multi-disciplinary teams to develop electro-mechanical or autonomous systems
- Experience defining/refining product requirements based on customer needs
- Experience with the full product lifecycle from research to sustainment
- Exceptional written and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with individual decision-making responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, digital cameras, GNSS-INS systems, or computer vision
- Experience in a technical project management role
- Experience in defense-related government contracting
- Experience with system-level requirements development, decomposition, and validation
- Risk management and reliability testing experience (HALT, HASS, MTBF)
- Experience with system test plan development and execution (FAT, FQT, ESS)
