Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop reliable robotic and automation systems
• Translate technical details to customers and express customer needs to technical teams
• Work with Senior Program Managers to develop, document, and execute technical decision making
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to advance projects
• Generate and maintain schedule, testing, and documentation tracking tools
• Document program requirements, test results, and trade studies

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience working on multi-disciplinary teams to develop electro-mechanical or autonomous systems
• Experience defining/refining product requirements based on customer needs
• Experience with the full product lifecycle from research to sustainment
• Exceptional written and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with individual decision-making responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, digital cameras, GNSS-INS systems, or computer vision
• Experience in a technical project management role
• Experience in defense-related government contracting
• Experience with system-level requirements development, decomposition, and validation
• Risk management and reliability testing experience (HALT, HASS, MTBF)
• Experience with system test plan development and execution (FAT, FQT, ESS)
