Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and model complex system-of-systems architectures for missile defense.
• Contribute to mission assessment, architecture, requirements, Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE), integration, and test.
• Define and evolve system architectures and maintain requirements artifacts and interface definitions.
• Plan and execute integration and checkout work, including defining tasks and monitoring completion.
• Build and maintain analysis tools and perform system performance trade studies using modeling and simulation.
• Collaborate with industry partners, government stakeholders, and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 4 or more years of related engineering experience.
• Prior experience in systems engineering (e.g., Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements, or Test).
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of related work experience (for Lead level).
• Experience with MBSE or requirements tools such as Cameo or DOORS.
• Experience in missile defense mission context, specifically command and control (C2BMC).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming for test and tool support (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Java).
• Experience developing or using modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance.
• Proven engineering leadership experience.
