Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mission assessment, architecture, requirements, Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE), integration, and test.
• Define and evolve system architectures and maintain requirements artifacts and interface definitions.
• Execute integration and checkout work, including defining tasks, scheduling, and monitoring completion.
• Develop and maintain modeling and simulation tools to evaluate system performance against evolving threats.
• Perform system and performance trade studies to inform technical decisions and mission effectiveness.
• Collaborate with industry partners, government stakeholders, and warfighters to align system priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 4 or more years of related engineering experience.
• Prior experience in systems engineering (e.g., Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements, or Test).
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of related work experience (for Lead level).
• Experience with MBSE or requirements tools such as Cameo or DOORS.
• Experience in missile defense mission context, specifically command and control (C2BMC).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming for test and analysis support (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Java).
• Experience driving integration and test (I&T) strategies and evaluating results against requirements.
