About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead development of automotive EE systems including R&D, manufacturing, and studio design
- Define and manage system-level requirements for body control modules, lighting, and comfort features
- Act as the subject matter expert for exterior and interior lighting within the SDV architecture
- Manage functional and nonfunctional requirements in alignment with legal regulations like FMVSS and SAE
- Develop component design, functional specifications, and system-level DFMEA, DV, and PV
- Ensure functions meet safety goals defined by the FUSA team
- Manage technical release of functions and calibration data for production
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, EE, or SW engineering (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in automotive systems or mechatronics (6+ years with PhD)
- Extensive experience with automotive body systems and lighting
- Expertise in systems engineering and complex systems design with EE/SW integration
- Familiarity with embedded systems software and EE systems like wiring and power distribution
- Proficiency with communication protocols: A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, and LVDS
- Experience with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe
- Experience using requirement management tools
