About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and document vehicle, subsystem, and component requirements for passive safety features and control systems
- Work cross-functionally across hardware, software, and brand feature teams
- Support feature verification test case definition and ensure requirement traceability
- Ensure vehicle quality through functional analysis using hierarchical DFMEA and STPA
- Ensure passive safety compliance with automotive standards such as NCAP and EU-NCAP
- Coordinate system delivery and timing to achieve development milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in systems design and integration
- Experience with passive safety systems (e.g., seatbelt reminders, child presence detection, EDR)
- Experience with system verification and test automation in SIL/vHIL/HIL environments
- Proficiency with DFMEA/STPA and associated tools
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and SOTIF (ISO 21448)
- Ability to read C/C++ and Python for debugging and code review
- Fluency with Git workflows
