Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform IT Support services to users onsite
• Use a ticketing system to manage support queries
• Maintain documentation and comply with organizational rules and guidelines
• Adhere to strict change control procedures
• Participate in 3rd line support and project work

Requirements

• 2 years of IT experience in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and mobile device troubleshooting
• Support experience with Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/DMZ/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls
• Basic understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience working in an MSP environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs or crouching

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial industry experience with Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, FactSet, or CapIQ
• Experience with ConnectWise suite of products
• Exposure to Azure or AWS workloads
• Experience with Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, or AirWatch
• Experience with Citrix XenApp
• Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions like Carbon Black, Cylance, Crowdstrike, or Cyberhat
• Experience with Mimecast, IronPort, or Proofpoint
• Advanced understanding of storage platforms such as Nimble, Pure Storage, NetApp, or EMC
