Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the entire system engineering workflow including defining system requirements, generating safety concepts, and implementing V&V strategies
• Assure progress towards automotive series-release by measuring and tracking KPIs across digital tests and real-world data sets
• Utilize simulation and data tools to monitor high-level KPIs and investigate test details
• Translate existing standards and regulations into the development process, deriving functional requirements and test cases (e.g., NCAP)
• Maintain direct customer contact and exposure

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a system engineering role within the automotive industry
• Experience owning system requirements, V&V testing, and designing safety-critical systems
• Proven track record of bringing safety-critical ADAS functions to series-release
• Knowledge of worldwide regulations and standards relevant to driver assistance
• Deep understanding of ADAS/AD system architectural design, including end-to-end architectures
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and customers
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to master new technical concepts quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Series project experience with Active Safety functions (e.g., AEB, LKA)
• Experience working in high-paced environments
• Hands-on experience with prototype vehicles
• Experience using simulation tools
