Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the entire system engineering workflow, including defining system requirements, generating safety concepts, and implementing V&V strategies.
• Focus on Active Safety Functions or Parking to ensure structured progress toward automotive series-release.
• Measure and track KPIs using simulation and data tools across digital tests and real-world datasets.
• Translate existing standards and regulations into the development process, deriving functional requirements and defining test cases (e.g., NCAP).
• Collaborate closely with system and software engineers and maintain direct contact with customers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a systems engineering role within the automotive industry.
• Proven experience bringing safety-critical ADAS functions through to series-release.
• Deep understanding of ADAS/AD architectural design, including modern end-to-end architectures.
• Knowledge of worldwide automotive regulations and standards relevant to driver assistance.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration skills for working across multidisciplinary teams and with external customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specific Active Safety functions such as AEB or LKA.
• Hands-on experience working with prototype vehicles.
• Proficiency with automotive simulation tools.
• Experience working in high-growth, high-paced technology environments.
