Systems Design & Implementation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical success in post-sales phases through the installation, implementation, and advanced maintenance of mission-critical technological solutions.
• Deploy and configure company products to meet specific client installation requirements and ensure systems operate at 100% capacity.
• Define infrastructure specifications, including central server platforms, capacity planning, storage requirements, and network protocols.
• Develop technical, tactical, and strategic plans to define system architecture and ensure technical viability.
• Integrate software applications, API concepts, operating systems, and the OSI model to guarantee interoperability with client network infrastructure.
• Provide continuous technical support and specialized information to both internal sales teams and client technical personnel.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles and RFDS design, including antenna selection, combiners, and lightning protection.
• Proficiency in advanced networking and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ISIS, SIP, and SNMP.
• Hands-on experience managing network hardware including routers, switches, and stateful packet firewalls.
• Strong expertise in server administration and virtualization, specifically VMware ESXi, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of the Motorola ASTRO 25 architecture and LMR technologies (P25, TETRA, HF, DMR).
• Understanding of communication site construction, including grounding systems, tower requirements, and technical shelters.
• Ability to travel over 50% of the time.
• Experience working collaboratively within multicultural, global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, or Nokia NRS1.
• Experience with point-to-point and microwave network design.
