Systems Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive technical innovation to improve validation capabilities through tool and script development
• Debug issues found during process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs
• Work with multiple cross-functional teams to track test execution and ensure features are validated on time
• Engage in software/hardware modeling frameworks
• Enhance technical and procedural methodologies to improve product delivery

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering
• Programming or scripting skills in C/C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python
• Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
• Experience with board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, and analysis
• Strong knowledge of system architecture and validation strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GFX or Power relative technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter to drive tasks to completion
