Systems Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Data Center GPU platforms, accelerator cards, and supporting system hardware from concept through production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including silicon architecture, firmware, software, mechanical, and thermal to deliver system solutions
• Develop product requirements, technical specifications, schedules, and engineering execution plans
• Drive schematic design, component selection, and implementation of complex high-speed digital, power, and management circuits
• Oversee PCB layout activities to ensure compliance with signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, and manufacturability requirements
• Partner with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Engineering teams to implement robust high-speed interfaces and power delivery architectures
• Plan and lead board bring-up, system integration, validation, and qualification activities
• Lead root-cause analysis and debug efforts for complex hardware issues using advanced laboratory instrumentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of hardware design experience
• Deep technical expertise in computer architecture, signal integrity, and power delivery
• Proficiency with the Cadence design suite
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience designing Data Center GPU platforms and understanding of AI server/rack-scale architectures
• Working knowledge of platform management and firmware technologies (e.g., Redfish, telemetry)
• Experience debugging and validating high-speed interfaces such as PCI Express, XGMI, and LPDDR
• Experience with high-speed design methodologies, PHY architectures, and advanced channel characterization
• Experience developing FPGA-based subsystems, including RTL design and verification
