About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Power, ME, SI, Layout) to design AMD AI product solutions
- Perform design reviews including hardware block-level, circuit, and layout analysis
- Investigate and debug technical issues found during bring-up, validation, and production phases
- Utilize board design tools such as Cadence Concept and Allegro to deliver high-quality designs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of industry experience in x86 hardware and product development
- Proficiency with board/platform-level debugging and analysis
- Experience with oscilloscopes and PCBA BOM architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with motherboard (MB) design
- Deep familiarity with design/debug tools including Cadence Concept and Allegro
- Proven track record working within cross-functional design environments
