Systems Design/Architecture Engineering, Instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on characterization and bring-up of hardware and firmware components
• Utilize lab equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers to gather data on new hardware designs
• Drive schematic or firmware changes based on gathered data to improve system performance
• Document performance metrics and procedures to enable design utilization by other users
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements for next-generation systems and incorporate them into industry-leading hardware and software solutions

Requirements

• BSEE or BSCS degree
• Experience with C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, Labview, and Python
• Solid background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
• Ability to work on complex hardware and software problems at both a theoretical and hands-on level
