About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on characterization and bring-up of hardware and firmware components
- Utilize lab equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers to gather data on new hardware designs
- Drive schematic or firmware changes based on gathered data to improve system performance
- Document performance metrics and procedures to enable design utilization by other users
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements for next-generation systems and incorporate them into industry-leading hardware and software solutions
Requirements
- BSEE or BSCS degree
- Experience with C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, Labview, and Python
- Solid background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
- Ability to work on complex hardware and software problems at both a theoretical and hands-on level
