About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering support for aircraft systems and avionics, including troubleshooting guidance and defect evaluation
- Review and assess Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and technical publications
- Coordinate with OEMs, Part-21 design organizations, and contracted MROs on repairs and modifications
- Support aircraft induction activities by reviewing systems and avionics configuration and compliance status
- Maintain accurate engineering records, approvals, and compliance documentation
- Promote adherence to safety, quality, and human factors practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in airline or MRO engineering support for systems/avionics
- Experience with A320 family preferred
- Strong knowledge of aircraft avionics and systems troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of airworthiness requirements (ADs, SBs, compliance tracking)
- Ability to interpret OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical data
- Proficiency with maintenance information systems and engineering tracking tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AD/SB management and continued airworthiness processes
- Understanding of modification/repair approval processes (Part-21 interface)
