Systems Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Systems Assurance framework, strategy, and compliance processes for rail and transportation projects
• Manage Systems Assurance, RAMS, safety assurance, verification & validation (V&V), and certification activities
• Ensure full integration and assurance coordination between railway systems including signalling, power supply, OCC, communications, and rolling stock
• Develop and manage assurance deliverables such as hazard logs, assurance reports, compliance matrices, safety cases, and verification plans
• Support Systems Engineering activities including requirements management, traceability, and interface management
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, operators, and regulatory authorities to support approvals and certification processes
• Identify and manage technical, safety, and operational risks associated with railway and airport interfaces

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Degree from a recognized University
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the AECO industry
• Minimum 10 years of experience in rail projects and/or rail operations
• Extensive knowledge of RAMS, verification & validation (V&V), and safety assurance for large-scale infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including requirements management and traceability
• Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary rail systems packages within mega projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or membership with a recognized engineering, railway, or safety institution
• Additional certifications in Systems Assurance, RAMS, Functional Safety, or Railway Safety
