Systems Architecture Software Engineer

We are addressing the challenges of electric vehicles through software-defined solutions, including operating systems, zonal controllers, and cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Advance capabilities for analyzing network architecture, topology, and behavior of vehicles
• Interface with multiple functional domains to define future technology roadmaps
• Decompose program functional and performance requirements into sub-systems
• Design system architecture and function allocation for scalable solutions
• Optimally assign functions to mechanical hardware, electrical hardware, or software
• Create and run models to understand design feasibility and fundamental limits
• Perform system analysis to identify strengths, drawbacks, and limitations
• Drive system optimization across the vehicle architecture

Requirements

• B.S. in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, communication networks, safety-critical systems, or automotive development processes (or an advanced degree)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to guide teams toward technical direction
