Systems Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead technical risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies across programs
• Define system-level requirements and architecture balancing performance, cost, schedule, and customer needs
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, program management, and engineering teams
• Mentor engineers in systems thinking and requirements development
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance capabilities
• Support technical strategy and solution development during sales pursuits
• Facilitate build reviews and technical decision-making across multi-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field
• 10–15 years of experience in systems engineering, product development, or technical program leadership
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into system requirements and architectures
• Strong experience managing technical risk and leading complex design efforts
• Expertise with systems engineering methodologies and tools (e.g., requirements management, MBSE)
• Ability to integrate across multiple engineering fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience facilitating technical discussions and presenting to customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness to travel domestically (5–20%)
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control laws
