Systems Architect - New Middleware (Digital Train)

Responsibilities

• Capture and define customer needs and requirements
• Define and write technical specifications, including functional, operational, interface, performance, safety, and maintainability requirements
• Design technical solutions and architectures to meet project needs
• Create technical documentation for customers, such as user manuals and datasheets
• Provide technical support to other departments, including software, validation, security, and functional safety teams
• Contribute to the acceptance testing and validation of delivered products
• Ensure all system activities are completed within Quality, Cost, and Schedule commitments

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent university degree
• 10+ years of experience in the design and development of embedded systems (both off-the-shelf and custom solutions)
• Expertise in embedded environments, including Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and middleware
• Strong understanding of performance, functional safety, and cybersecurity
• Experience with requirements management, including formulation and traceability
• Proficiency in English
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, networked environment
