Systems Architect Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical trade-offs of system and subsystem-level solutions
• Develop and maintain system models within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework
• Participate in defining solution roadmaps and requirements
• Provide technical leadership for spacecraft conceptual design
• Work with product managers and engineers to validate technical assumptions

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in modeling and simulation, computational physics, or multidisciplinary optimization
• Proficiency with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Julia, Fortran, or C++
• Strong technical communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with spacecraft design, manufacture, or operations
• Experience scaling complex simulations in cloud or cluster environments
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and trajectory optimization
• Familiarity with STK, FreeFlyer, or similar software
• Experience with DoD or USG development programs
• Ability to hold a USG Security Clearance
