Systems and Supplier Management Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into technical solutions by providing systems engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical support for design, integration, and system support to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets
• Analyze technical issues and collaborate closely with suppliers to develop and integrate solutions or modifications
• Perform system failure analysis, troubleshooting, and solution development in coordination with other engineering disciplines
• Harmonize system requirements with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to establish a common technical vision
• Develop operational and system-level concepts based on gathered and derived requirements
• Review Interface Control Documents (ICD) and coordinate the resolution of communication issues with interfaced systems
• Prepare and support system verification and validation activities, including test procedures and inspection support
• Manage and document system configurations and support the transition of systems to the production phase

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Railway Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, system integration, or complex product development in an industrial environment
• Proven experience in analyzing, defining, and managing system requirements throughout a project lifecycle
• Experience with multidisciplinary system integration involving multiple technical interfaces and suppliers
• Proficiency in failure analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical problems
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, interface documents, and applicable standards
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams and suppliers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the railway, aerospace, transportation, or other highly regulated sectors
