Systems and Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the organization’s end-to-end security posture across cloud, endpoint, identity, data, network, and application layers.
• Implement and enforce zero trust principles, including identity governance, conditional access, and privileged access.
• Design, deploy, and manage secure Microsoft Azure and AWS environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop and Cloud PCs.
• Manage unified endpoint management (UEM) across Windows, macOS, Android, and Apple platforms using Microsoft Intune.
• Build and maintain core infrastructure services and leverage automation/Infrastructure-as-Code to improve operational efficiency.
• Serve as the technical security lead during incidents, conducting investigations and delivering executive-ready remediation recommendations.
• Conduct application and infrastructure security risk assessments and lead security awareness training.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least one professional information security certification, such as CISSP or CISM.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Defender, Entra, and Purview.
• Deep understanding of network security (VPN, Firewall, URL filtering) and SIEM platforms like Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with cloud resource provisioning and configuration management in Azure and AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Cloud, or CCNP Security certifications.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience securing AI platforms, APIs, and third-party SaaS integrations.
