Systems and Cloud Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize cloud services across platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Manage on-premise servers and ensure optimal performance and availability
• Implement and maintain security best practices in both cloud and server environments
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve system issues proactively to minimize downtime
• Support the deployment of applications and services in the cloud
• Collaborate with development and operations teams for smooth production transitions
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Assist with backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Administrator
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator
• Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and virtualization technologies
