About the role
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer the firm-wide Collibra metadata management system to represent critical data assets and policies.
- Implement and operationalize firm-wide data governance through business glossaries, data dictionaries, and policy repositories.
- Design and implement operating, asset, and metamodels in Collibra to ensure usability for non-technical audiences.
- Construct workflows, reference data, and data lineage harvesting to validate data integrity.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into effective Collibra designs and automated metadata uploads.
- Build dashboards within Collibra to enable stakeholders to discover and understand data assets quickly.
- Train and mentor data stewards, providing documentation, guides, and thought leadership on data governance best practices.
Requirements
- Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in metadata management roles.
- At least 3 years of direct experience working with Collibra.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, data management concepts, and data strategy implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of data processing technologies and patterns, such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes.
- Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
