Systems Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy IT equipment for laboratory spaces, including imaging and software installation
• Provide desktop and technical support to faculty and staff within the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure reliable system performance
• Manage and maintain Active Directory group policies and system configurations
• Evaluate existing hardware to determine relocation, reuse, or replacement needs
• Assess laboratory technology needs and recommend system improvements
• Decommission IT equipment in vacated spaces, including device removal and cabling
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for all IT assets

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with IT equipment deployment and configuration
• Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience with Active Directory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
• Experience supporting mixed operating system environments (Windows and MacOS)
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity for laboratory instruments
• Experience working in a laboratory, healthcare, or diagnostic environment
