Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as the Infrastructure Administrator for BMC Control-M, managing core components including Server, EM, CCM, Agents, and GUI.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of Control-M/Server, Enterprise Manager, and Agents.
• Manage plugin deployment for platforms such as Database, Informatica, Peoplesoft, and AWS.
• Handle user and group administration, including the creation and management of Node Groups.
• Provide recovery solutions during major outages and manage DR/HA activities.
• Work with developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient technical scheduling specifications.
• Perform daily production analysis, reporting, and resolve high-priority Control-M issues.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to comply with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in a large-scale IT Infrastructure environment.
• Deep expertise in BMC Control-M Administration and enterprise job scheduling.
• Mandatory experience with Unix/Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of batch scheduling concepts, file transfers (SFTP/FTP), and dependencies.
• Familiarity with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in ITIL-aligned, production 24x7 environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• BMC Control-M Certification.
• Linux Administration certification (e.g., RHCSA or equivalent).
• Scripting knowledge in Shell, PowerShell, Perl, or Python.
• Exposure to cloud workload scheduling (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with Control-M Rest API and Control-M Utilities.
