Systems Analyst, AVP

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level remote management, administration, and support for client production Charles River IMS solutions.
• Assist clients with optimal system use, user administration, privileges, and parameter configuration changes.
• Monitor system availability and perform application and database performance tuning.
• Manage daily operational processing, software patches, and version upgrades.
• Support problem resolution and assist with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to transition new clients to production and improve service delivery.
• Participate in the investigation and implementation of automation tools to streamline services.
• Provide periodic off-hours support as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Math, or Statistics).
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration and administration.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to provide periodic off-hours support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Services, Investment Management, or Trading systems (specifically Charles River IMS).
• Background in portfolio management and trading system applications.
• Experience with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, or job scheduling software.
• Experience with system monitoring software and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
