Systems Administrator/Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure supporting cyber range operations
• Administer VMware ESXi, KVM, or Xen hypervisor environments
• Perform configuration management and automation using Ansible
• Support scripting in BASH and Python
• Administer SAN and VLAN infrastructure
• Integrate camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT devices, and RF devices into range scenarios
• Maintain system baselines, patching, hardening, and RMF-relevant documentation
• Provide operational support during training and test events, including incident triage and root-cause analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related discipline
• Active DoD Manual 8140.03 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC)
• Minimum 7 years of progressive systems administration/engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi
• Experience with Ansible, BASH, and Python
• Working knowledge of SAN and VLAN administration
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required at start

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with KVM or Xen hypervisors
• Experience integrating camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, or RF devices into test/training environments
