Systems Administrator, Windows

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems involving hardware and operating system integration
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements
• Install and configure software applications as requested by end users
• Follow documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures
• Support critical programs with classified information system capabilities in a 24x7 operational environment

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience
• Less than 2 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Experience with Microsoft Windows administration
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) within a reasonable timeframe

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and clients
• Experience with Linux operating systems administration
• Experience with patching and security hardening
• Experience troubleshooting computer system hardware and software issues
• Experience supporting engineering or developers in an isolated network environment
