Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems
• Administer and support VMware server and cluster environments
• Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology on assigned systems
• Maintain system configuration standards using DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
• Maintain and update operating system security patches
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate resolution with vendors
• Document maintenance, repairs, test activities, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor system capacity and performance to recommend improvements

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in Microsoft Windows and/or Linux System Administration
• Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification
• Current Top Secret clearance
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM
• Experience with SCAP, STIG, and ACAS
• Familiarity with the RMF process
• Ability to work on-site in Lexington Park, MD, with occasional travel (20% - 35%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Navy systems, networks, and IT infrastructure
• 7 years of senior-level System Administrator experience
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
