Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux system administration functions
• Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers
• Monitor and patch/upgrade standard networking resources including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor and patch/upgrade servers and VM hardware
• Assist and incorporate security compliance controls
• Support documentation of non-applicable controls
• Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure
• Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete hardware
• Document inventory changes

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph (within last 6 years)
• 10 years of systems administration experience OR technical bachelor's degree + 5 years of experience
• Proficient with Linux
• Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience within the last 3 years
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
• VM experience
• Security+ certification
