Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain VMWare ESX technologies and Windows Server (2019, 2022)
• Manage Active Directory, including directory structures, rights, security, and user accounts
• Administer core server infrastructure such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and SNMP
• Maintain and troubleshoot servers, computers, printers, and 3cx VoIP systems
• Implement and troubleshoot data backups and disaster recovery operations using Veeam
• Manage IT system infrastructure, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage devices
• Identify network bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis for system issues
• Maintain documentation for systems operation and end-user guides
• Provide escalated support to the IT Helpdesk and assist with inbound calls as needed

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Science, a related IT field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in technical analysis and systems administration
• 3+ years of working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2019+, Microsoft Exchange 2019, and basic Microsoft SQL Server
• 3+ years of experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policies
• 3+ years of networking experience including VLANs, switches, wireless, and fiber
• Proficiency with TCP/IP networking and SAN technology
• Ability to work after normal business hours for planned downtime or emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell
• Experience with network administrator tools like WinSCP, Putty, and Wireshark
