Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Support senior administrators, ISSOs, management, and researchers
• Configure and maintain NAS Storage, Networking, Firewall, and Directory Services
• Manage MS Active Directory and Group Policy administration
• Perform performance monitoring, results analysis, and process automation using PowerShell
• Provide daily systems maintenance, problem resolution, and project support
• Create and maintain installation and configuration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain knowledge of DoD security and technical guidelines
• Provide support for production and development environments
• Perform after-hours maintenance and patching as required

Requirements

• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Linux Administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
• Windows OS Administration
• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree + 3 years, or PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• Enterprise Virtualization Tools
• Multi-Factor Authentication and Public Key Infrastructure
• Web Server management
• Active Directory (Group Policy, LDAP, Replication)
• Experience with STIGS and SCAP tools
• HBSS implementation and maintenance
• ACAS support
• Knowledge of DoD Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS)
