Systems Administrator Senior - Information Assurance

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and install applications software and hardware for multiple classified networked systems
• Administer and maintain assigned systems to ensure availability, integrity, and reliability
• Implement formal Information Systems Security Plans and enforce security policies
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software malfunctions to resolve physical and logical processing problems
• Manage the installation of system patches, enhancements, and updates while maintaining system integrity
• Develop standard procedures for account establishment, system maintenance, and system recovery
• Perform information assurance duties to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience (10+ years preferred)
• At least 3 years of experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last 5 years
• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II or III certification (e.g., CISSP, CAP, CISM)
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and/or VMware administration
• Knowledge of DISA STIG implementation and RMF compliance processes
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Splunk, or HBSS
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced scripting skills for task automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with network hardware platforms such as Juniper and Cisco
• In-depth experience supporting DoD environments or program acquisition offices
