Systems Administrator Level 3

Responsibilities

• Provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services and enhanced sustainment capabilities
• Manage systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, and custom vendor-specific operating systems
• Support high-speed shared storage including Lustre and GPFS
• Manage high-speed low latency network interconnects like Infiniband and Slingshot
• Transition systems into Operations and integrate new HPC sustainment capabilities
• Support HPC and ABS (ABUNDANTSHIELD) SRE teams
• Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of IT system problems
• Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems, including client/server/storage/network devices
• Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent poly within the last 7 years)
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• B.S. in a technical discipline with 10 years of experience as a System Administrator, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience with HPC systems, servers (cluster, SMP, MPP, SPD), and parallel file systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex server hardware, applications, and software integration
