Systems Administrator Level 2

Responsibilities

• Provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services and enhanced sustainment capabilities to geographically dispersed areas
• Support systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, and custom vendor-specific operating systems
• Manage high-speed shared storage including Lustre and GPFS
• Maintain dedicated high-speed low latency network interconnects like Infiniband and Slingshot
• Transition systems into Operations, including planning, delivery, and integration of new HPC sustainment capabilities
• Support HPC and ABS (ABUNDANTSHIELD) SRE teams following Government designated policies and procedures

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent poly within the last 7 years)
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• B.S. in a technical discipline and 5 years of experience as a System Administrator, or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
• Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
• Management of daily configuration and operation of IT systems
• Experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
• Ability to perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Experience with client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices
