Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess IT needs and recommend scalable solutions
• Support technical design and solution scoping during client engagements
• Plan and coordinate infrastructure refresh and renewal cycles
• Manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness
• Execute infrastructure projects and resolve day-to-day technical issues
• Maintain servers, networking equipment and end-user systems
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality client outcomes

Requirements

• Knowledge of Dell EMC server hardware
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft 365 technologies
• Working knowledge of switching and routing concepts
• Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems
• Experience with antivirus or endpoint protection solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, VMware or Microsoft certifications
• Server virtualization experience (VMware or Hyper-V)
• Enterprise storage experience (iSCSI preferred)
• Desktop virtualization (VDI) experience
• Wi-Fi networking experience
• VoIP solution experience
• Business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) experience
• Microsoft licensing knowledge
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS and/or Azure)
