Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II support and management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical hardware
• Troubleshoot application functionality, crashes, and performance issues
• Assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications
• Provide remote end user desktop support and resolve system incidents
• Respond to escalated service desk and team requests
• Participate in initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of related systems administration experience
• Current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA Security)
• Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and LDAP
• Experience with Windows 10, Server 2012, and Server 2016
• Knowledge of application troubleshooting (Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, NETS, or other ticketing processes and ITIL v3 or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• PowerShell scripting skills
• Experience with Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix)
• Experience with VMware User Experience Management (UEM)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and networking fundamentals
