Responsibilities
- Develop automation for system functionality tests at component, integration, and system levels
- Develop open-loop and closed-loop replay HiL tests, reliability, and fault-injection tests
- Automate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test setups to support coverage expansion
- Lead root cause investigations for failures identified during test campaigns
- Optimise CI/CD-integrated test workflows
- Integrate third-party verification tools including JAMA, MC/DC, and MISRA
- Define and track KPIs and quality metrics for system testing
- Uncover potential software and hardware bugs and report findings through JIRA
- Identify and implement infrastructure improvements for test coverage and compliance
- Review and adhere to Risk Assessments for safe testing activities
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with system-level verification in robotics, embedded software, or mechatronics
- Experience with HiL testing and tooling (CAN, Ethernet, GMSL, dSPACE, Vector, or Xylon)
- Strong proficiency in Python and pytest automation frameworks
- Ability in interface-level testing for hardware/software interactions
- Experience with automotive standards (ASPICE, SOTIF, ISO 26262, JAMA, X-RAY)
- Knowledge of open and closed loop HIL system replay
- Proficiency in CI/CD principles and tooling (GitLab CI, Buildkite, or Bazel)
- Experience with test automation dashboards (Grafana, Looker, Datadog, or JIRA)
- Experience developing or testing automotive software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with autonomous vehicle systems or ADAS
- Understanding of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostic protocols (UDS, OBD-II)
- Knowledge of vehicle instrumentation and calibration tools
- Experience with version control systems like Git or Jenkins
