About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and own vehicle-level safety cases for driving functions and platform integration
- Translate safety analysis into clear, implementable safety requirements and constraints
- Apply ISO 26262 standards across concept, system development, and analysis phases
- Work across vehicle features such as braking, steering, ADAS, and body functions to identify risks and define mitigations
- Perform hands-on development of safety artifacts including hazard analysis, FMEA, and safety case structures
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and integration teams to ensure end-to-end safety implementation
- Support vehicle bring-up and validation with safety checks aligned to system behavior
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in functional safety or systems engineering, preferably within an OEM or Tier-1 ADAS program
- Hands-on experience in vehicle-level safety case development
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and road vehicle features enablement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HARA/HAZOP, System FMEA, and safety case derivation
- Deep understanding of vehicle systems including ADAS, braking, steering, and control systems
- Ability to bridge complex interactions between system, hardware, and software
- Familiarity with ISO 19014 or ISO 13849
- Exposure to system-level hazard analysis for heavy machinery or off-road vehicles
