System Requirements Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders in developing and managing project requirements
• Generate technical documentation for both internal use and customers
• Perform systems analysis and design work
• Participate in technical design reviews
• Support the Systems Team in generating bid proposal material and responding to customer requests

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering
• Proven experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to certification
• Experience generating technical documentation
• Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a similar discipline
• Ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure within agreed timescales

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Air Traffic Management or Radar systems
• Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset
• Proficiency with SysML or UML in a Systems Engineering environment
• Experience with configuration management systems
• Membership or Chartership with INCOSE or a similar professional body
