System Parameter Tuning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute damper and ride development processes following ZF and customer standards
• Adjust operating software to achieve specific ride and handling targets established by customers
• Manage software calibrations for production, including documentation and ASPICE compliance
• Utilize software tools for calibration tuning and troubleshoot chassis electrical system faults
• Perform system integration and testing according to required test cases
• Issue engineering reports after ride sessions and obtain customer sign-off
• Coordinate ride work activities and maintain strong professional relationships with customers

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in vehicle dynamics fundamentals applied to damper development
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in Vector CANape and CANalyzer
• Knowledge of ASPICE toolchains (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS, GIT, or Integrity)
• Fluent in English
• Valid Driver’s License with experienced ride and handling skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, schematics, and CAN communication
