System Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage device lifecycles, configuration profiles, and user identities using Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
• Build modular, idempotent, and reusable automation for user provisioning and software deployments using PowerShell
• Use REST APIs to connect infrastructure tools and streamline workflows
• Provide technical support for data center operations, including racking/stacking and remote server administration via LOM tools
• Support hardware and software environments for AI and Machine Learning workloads
• Conduct system testing to identify hardware and software inefficiencies to maintain low latency
• Maintain rigorous documentation for trading applications and internal SOPs

Requirements

• 3–5 years in System Operations, Systems Engineering, Desktop Engineering, or high-pressure Technical Support
• Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Proficiency in functional programming styles, specifically with PowerShell
• Experience using REST APIs to interact with web services
• Deep knowledge of PC/Server components including GPUs, RAM, and CPU architectures
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze system log files
• Ability to make rapid decisions in a fast-paced trading environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS)
• Awareness of infrastructure requirements for supporting internal AI models or LLMs
• Comfort performing occasional physical work such as equipment moves and cable management
