About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain production equipment, perform repairs, and install new machinery within a large-scale manufacturing facility
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, air motors, and fluid power systems
- Diagnose equipment failures at both the system and component levels
- Perform maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment, including roll formers, plasma cutters, and welding equipment
- Work with team leaders to execute scheduled preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Rebuild equipment based on written and oral instructions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance-related field
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 15-44 pounds, standing, crawling, and kneeling for up to 10 hours per day
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of various voltage systems (480V, 277V, 240V, 208V, and 120/24V)
- Ability to route conduit and install breaker panels, transformers, and lighting without supervision
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety requirements for hazardous or flammable environments
- High School diploma or GED
