About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain production equipment, perform repairs, and install new machinery within a large-scale manufacturing facility
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, air motors, and fluid power systems
- Diagnose equipment failures at both the system and component levels
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in coordination with team leaders
- Rebuild various equipment including gear drives, welders, and heavy industrial machinery based on instructions
- Troubleshoot and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Apply mechanical and electrical aptitude to solve daily production-related problems
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance-related field
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift and carry 15-44 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for up to 10 hours per day
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of various voltage systems (480V, 277V, 240V, 208V, and 120/24V)
- Ability to route conduit, install breaker panels, transformers, and perform terminations without supervision
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety requirements for hazardous or flammable environments
- High School Diploma or GED
