System Integrator Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, control systems, and related devices including transmitting/receiving equipment and terminals.
• Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs using Ladder Logic to integrate various field devices.
• Develop and maintain complex programs, designing file and record interrelations to fit overall project designs.
• Investigate and analyze program requirements and develop programming specifications.
• Work with field devices such as valves, flow meters, transmitters, and motor pump control circuits.
• Solve complex computer and programming problems through detailed analysis and control of equipment.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in electronics/electronic control systems OR 2 years of formal training.
• Proficiency in Ladder Logic with the ability to troubleshoot and program.
• Ability to wire and integrate field devices to various types of PLCs.
• Working knowledge of Windows, RSLinx, and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a government security investigation for access to Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
• Must possess necessary tools of the trade and wear ASTM F2413-05 compliant safety shoes.
