System Integration Specialist Intern

Responsibilities

• Conduct system-level testing using Python automation scripts and manual execution methods
• Install and provision optical systems within a lab environment
• Troubleshoot system-level issues identified during testing activities
• Collaborate with System Architects to analyze and determine root causes of system behavior
• Execute validation activities using optical and electrical test equipment

Requirements

• Currently working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
• Experience applying Linux in academic or project-based environments
• Proficiency in using Python programming for automation or testing tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within lab-based testing environments
• Exposure to fiber optics and optical networking concepts
