System Integration Engineer, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between legal SaaS systems and enterprise services such as MDM, identity, and data lakes
• Implement integration patterns using API-based, event-driven, and batch/file-based approaches
• Develop and manage interfaces including API endpoints, message handlers, ETL/ELT jobs, and scheduled data syncs
• Build and operate reliable data pipelines to ingest contract documents and metadata into the legal data lake
• Integrate legal systems with MDM services to ensure consistent master entities like counterparties and vendors
• Define and implement integration standards, including canonical data models, error handling, and secure secrets management
• Ensure all integrations adhere to security and compliance requirements, including SSO/OAuth, encryption, and audit logging
• Own day-2 operations including monitoring, alerting, incident triage, and root cause analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise integrations across SaaS and on-prem/cloud systems
• Strong expertise in API design and consumption (REST, GraphQL) and authentication patterns (OAuth2, SAML)
• Experience with event/message-based systems, async processing, and idempotency patterns
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT and data pipeline engineering, including schema evolution and reconciliation
• Experience implementing secure integration practices such as secrets management and audit logging
• Strong background in production operations, including monitoring, alerting, and incident management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating contract management (CLM) platforms and document repositories
• Familiarity with legal contract data concepts such as metadata, obligations, and clause taxonomy
• Experience with MDM concepts including golden records, match/merge, and survivorship rules
• Background in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including interface specs and data flow diagrams
