System Hardware Design Engineer (IP Architect)

Responsibilities

• Define optimal embedded hardware/software IP solutions in cooperation with software and security experts
• Architect, specify, design, and implement state-of-the-art digital hardware security IP cores and complex subsystems using Verilog RTL
• Create technical documentation and product collateral
• Participate in customer use case discussions to gather and analyze requirements for new security solutions
• Guide development teams in executing specifications, performing code reviews, and adopting quality and security-focused mindsets
• Lead the hands-on development of new and enhanced features for the security IP portfolio

Requirements

• PhD or advanced MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in digital hardware design and verification
• Extensive experience in hardware security IP design, including requirements management and SW drivers
• Deep knowledge of AMBA-based infrastructure and IC design flows
• Experience with processor-based subsystems and functional partitioning between hardware and software
• Ability to create technical product specifications and translate them into leading-edge implementations

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern verification techniques such as SystemVerilog, UVM, or formal verification
• Experience with Jama/Doors, Perl, Javascript, tcl, and Linux shell scripting
• Knowledge of Security Architectures and Cryptographic Protocols
